Off the top of my head i can recall Slayer, Zodiac Mindwarp, The Cult, Rose Tattoo and S.B., but there must be hundreds of versions.
Lizzy Borden.
Raven & Udo! Slade too.

Oh snap this is some superb shit! I never gave these guys a chance after seeing the video for Rock Without the Roll on Metal Mania. I didn't like it too much, but i'm kicking myself now because this rocks my socks.

Please tell me this was released on cd.

A bootleg of "Total Control" was put out on Old Metal Records.

I didn't know there was a cd release, even if it is a bootleg.
Something else to add to the "wants list".

There's something about 4 black guys decked out in leather and hammering out good heavy metal that's so kick-arse I can't describe it, it looks so cool... then again I guess J-metal brings up similar thoughts.

Hollywood (Down on your luck) - What a cool fucking intro/verse riff!

Lizzy Borden.
Check out the version done by Spanish speed metal gods MURO. Easily one of the best covers of that song.

As I mentioned earlier in the thread: Don't you dare miss out on the "Born To Rock" MLP that bigfootkit recently uploaded at his blog. Pure NWOBHM-worship, and betterly so than plenty a yankie-combo active at the time. "Raging Heart" will melt your brain, and while "Conquer the World" sounds hauntinlgy similar to TURBO's classic "Charged For Glory" at times, it's still a fucking GEM!

I dl'ed all 3 SB releases and they rule with an iron fist! I hope they get a legit release on cd. I'm not a fan of bootlegs.

It is that. It's a Thin Lizzy cover. They were good with riffs. :)

Thank you Dan. That's been driving me crazy, you're absolutely right, such a relief to know which song it reminded me of.

I found out about this album about a year ago or so. It blew me away completely; one of my major discoveries last year.
