ATTIKA - "Black Rose" from the mighty When heroes fall
Not exactly a ballad because after the first half it will kick your ass and eliminate everything, but anyway...

I have got to resurrect this one, if you all don't mind.
Found a nice ballad were I least excepted one, on Coven's "Blessed is the Black" album. "Another Life" is a beauty, it even has keyboards! Great ballad.
I think there are some un-wimpy ballads, that one can really enjoy.
Iron Cross - Fantasy World
Emerald - Look to the Stars
Tempt - Don't walk away (on Metal Meltdown III)
Valhalla - In her Eyes
Titan Force - Toll of Pain
Crimson Glory - Lost Reflection
Black Sabbath - Solitude

Tears of fire by keel, especially I love the 2 guitar solo
18 and life by Skid Row, great song and clip
My fav. Krokus song, screaming in the night, an old and great video clip
Cinderella, noboby's fool, never get bored of it
Accept - the king, I love it and for years I thought it was a Scorpions' song
Megadeth's Tout le monde
from NWOBHM
Bad Axe - Cry for me
Oldies
July morning from the mighty Uriah Heep
and a new one
my fav. Anathema song, fragile dreams not a ballad but great
