OK here's a couple of my personal favorite 7''s (I only own 1 ...) -

Steve Crowther Band - Red Herring / My Machine - awesome stuff !!!!

Snatchback - Eastern Lady / Crying to the Night - awesome as well !

please leave opinions !!!!

Thanks for the uploads, rare and unknown NWOBHM. I was not particularly impressed by any of them although the vocals of SCB were kinda cool.

Steve Crowther Band is extremely awesome and heavy, sound quality is quite bad though. Would love to hear this in a better form.

Snatchback is great too, but doesn't match SCB.

I'll give me original a spin, but I think it was just not that well recorded. these mp3's are straight from my friend's vinyl.

Hmm, interesting listens. I like the Steve Crowther Band; they've got a heavy but weird sound and kind of odd, trippy lyrics. Reminds me a little of Deep Switch. When was this one released? I'm guessing 85-86.

The Snatch-Back is ok but not as immediately likeable as SCB. I think this one came out in '79 and the music reflects the early date; 'Eastern Lady' in particular has a distinct 70s influence. Not bad and may grow on me with more listens.

Thanks again for sharing, it's always cool to hear these realy obscure nwobhm releases.

Snatch-back was released in 1979, that's right. Steve Crowther Band was actually released in 1982. It did always remind me of Deep Switch, but to be honest I think I even like it more than DS.

I was pretty sure Snatchback were before 1980. Too many 70's elements in their music, not necessarily bad, but certainly not my cup of tea.

SCB could have been released one or two years (max) later, but again it didn't sound as late-NWOBHM, '85-'86 seemed pretty unlikely to me.

Thanks for the date Boris. SCB sounded just unique enough that I thought maybe they were influenced by Deep Switch and Hell and thus came a bit later. 1982... hmmm, cool!

Thanks for these, i haven't had a chance to hear them yet, but i'll give some feedback when i do. I found art work for that Snatch-Back 7" if anyone is interested, also saw that the last copy up for auction went for £205!!!
