That sums up my own obsession with these bands & albums to the letter. The coolness of an album like WHEELZ OF STEEL have zilch to to with Metal Worship - this is pure novelty all the way. They're like Metal's dirty little secrets, the why's, the who's, the how's... it just blows your mind. At least the part about the sheer weirdness of the music wasn't all hypebole from zabar's end. I really, Really, REALLY need to get my hands on this album now.Avenger wrote:What the fuck is this?
How was this shit even actually released?

I want to hear the complete recording too, but the question is: Who will pay? 300$ are a lot of money for one LP, an LP which you don't know if it will reach that price if you decide to sell it one day...
I think that album hits the retardest core of crap metal.

...the mystery thickens...reports of mental illness, institutionalization and suicide (all unconfirmed) and one of the brothers has passed on so these events may have set the stage for the sounds found within...
Good against Evil, Evil sure to win

Looks like me, DaN, and the Knell are gonna get into a bidding war over the next one, hahahaaha!
Expect that one to go up by 50 cent increments, hehe.
Hey listen, for you other shit-mongers on here, this is one of the greatest records of all time:

I'm actually the proud owner of a vinyl copy of that. The sample links are broken, alas, but the cover gives you some idea of the greatness hidden inside.
Note also that it's Catholic, which is unusual. Usually it's the Protestants making crazy shit like that.

I can't really see why anyone would be interested in AFTERBIRTH. Unlike WHEELZ OF STEEL I don't think they were even supposed to be Metal/HR, more like Mentors/GG Allin-style "scum rock". I'm not entirely sure if I sold my old copy at the last record fair or not (I don't keep my sale-stuff at home) but if it's still there you're more than welcome to start a bidding war
