Yeah, I gave the Goldsmith a few spins & it's solid, safe NWOBHM with ex-Bitches Sin singer. I like it a lot!

I got TYRANNY 7", thank you! The music is great, cool obscure feeling to it!

Many thanks for your generosity!

I got "Savage Killer" by Burner.

Excellent NWOBHM just the way I like it.
Raw guitar sound, excellent riffing, good vocals and catchy choruses! Especially title track burns into your head after only one listen.

Cheers!

It was nice to have a package waiting when I got back home, also because we don't celebrate Christmas in that way any more, no presents or all that... I got the TORSTEN 7", thanks, I don't want to be rude, but to be honest the music isn't good, quite forgettable.

Unfortunately you're dead right. It's quite funny though, w/ the silly vocals and awful cover art.

Further to the above, I was finally able to spin the 7" today. I have never heard this band before so had no idea what to expect. Quite an enjoyable 7", I felt that side A "CALL US ROBINHOODS" was the stronger track and had a very NWOBHM vibe to it if you get what I mean. Side B was also good but not quite as good as side A.

Nice record to have 8)

Got my present the last day of 2008, thanks a lot John for the single!
I got Forever Winter/Ritual Steel split, which unfortunately suffers from bad sound quality (esp. the Ritual Steel song, which is a live recording of horrible quality). Nevertheless I strongly appreciate this!

For a second there I thought the Swedish post office had gone all Mexican on me, but no sir! The OVERDRIVE pic 7" arrived today and is now playing. Ancient Swedish Garage Metal - you gotta luw it. Sure, it's not on par w/ the PARADIZE 7" (sorry Stark  ) but you still have to admire how "Metal" this is for being recorded all the way back in 1980. Definitely a keeper. Thank you, St. Haupt!

FINALLY! Got the Voyeur record today. Thanks a lot. Don't know if I'm gonna dig it, as soon as I get my record player functioning I'll give it a spin. Still a free record is a free record and I'm very grateful for that. Cheers!
