IF they released a crapload of rock'n'pop I guess it will be quite difficult to find info on these releases, so the best way to sort this out would be to have a look at the serials of all known Metal albums on the label and see if some major gaps occur. Don't suppose we have any Czech's on-board?

They used different types of Cat#s. I guess it will be pretty hard to put them in an order

Deathrage - Down in the Depth of Sickness was also released on a CD in 1990 with same cat. number.
Cheers - updated. Let me know if you discover any more MM cds.
About Alastor - Syndroms of the Cities, was this one really released on a CD too? Anyone has a picture of it?
I honestly don't remember my source for this one, but I figure I would have had a good reason to include it since it was the only CD included in the list until now. Do you know of any other CD-edition of ALASTOR that I might have confused it with?
The only other site that lists Syndrom of the Cities as CD is another label index site: http://www4.pf-x.net/~steeler/disco/A/ALASTAR.htm

... but I have yet to meet someone who's actually seen this CD in real :)

What a great list - I tried something similar myself, but haven't had that resources ...

I'll post my comments though:

Black Dragon / High Dragon 039 Cover is not correct - it's this

Thanks again!

A late cheers! Fixed + credits added. I'd like to point once again that I really want all pics to be of the correct pressings of the correct label, so don't hesitate to point out any more of these errors.

Checked my Steeler "Night after Night" single and it has the Steamhammer serial number SH 0067 on the label (and etched on the record).

And you got my surname right (not everybody does). I shall print the page and make a tattoo out of it! :D

Still I'm the one to thank you! Maybe, for proof, I should scan and post some label lists I tried to do myself in the dark ages of the nineties based solely on my own collection, the odd innersleeve information and some ads in the metal press... Thread name: Your vain "childhood" complete label discography attempts...

Tankard - Zombie Attac K wasn't released by Noise on CD for the first time until 1988 as a re-release, although, it still carries the same CAT Number.

Damien - Every Dog Has It's Day was released on CD for the first time on Steamhammer in 1987 not 1988. I just checked my copy and there is no mention of 1988 anywhere in any of the label/copyright printings.

Steeler - Undercover Animal was also released on CD by Steamhammer in 1988 CD CAT Number = 85-7512.

Tokyo Blade - Blackhearts And Jaded Spades was released on CD for the first time by Steamhammer under the "SPV MID PRICE SERIE" series in 1988, not 1989 just like the others. Sorry, that might just have been a typo, I don't mean to sound anal...

And finally, I'd like to say that you deserve a huge pat on the back for finally getting the Steamhammer page up. Good job. I can only imagine that time and effort that went into this.

Added the only 2 East-Euro labels I could think of that would "fit" the discog-concept: Russians Death City Records and Explosive Records from former Yugoslavia. Let me know if you could think of any more.

Having gone over the Combat discography again, Nasty Savage - S/T was never released on CD by Combat. The first CD pressing of this album was released by Restless/Metal Blade in 1990 and included the "Abstract Reality" EP.

What an amazing list. The problem is now I'll be looking for more vinyl and spending my kids college fund. What's left of it anyway.
