I have tried many times, but I just can't get into Restless Breed. Very strange, considering how much I love Born in America and that I like FDU very much as well, but Restless Breed simply never does anything for me.Witchkiller wrote:FDU,Restless Breed and Born InAmerica arefar more better

CIA gets me rumpin'.The lead in the middle combined with the screamin' of Forrester IS DIVINE!
Hard Lovin' Man is A CLASSIC in all acountsThe riff,Reale's straight forward bluesy leads, the chorus!A CLASSIC!
The cover on the animals "When I Was Young"is simply FAR MORE BETTER than the original!Forrester wipes off the floor with Burdon(he is great though)throwin' him back into obscurity.
Loanshark is probably Riot's meanest, most twisted and evil moment!Th intro riff is delivered at "Evil Invaders speed"3 years earlier than Evil Invaders and the chorus, tasy, tasy, tasty!I'M A LOANSHARK DOES YOUR MOTHER KNOW I'M AFTER YOU!
Showdown.....NOW WHAT CAN ONE SAY ABOUT THIS MONSTER BLUES MONSTER BALLAD?Simply one of the best on the gerne!A tune that can only be compared with Amamos La Vida,Ain't No Love InThe Heart Of The City and the likes.
The title track(Restless Breed that is)is another killer "full on metal" track. The melodic intro is there to lprepare the ground for this straight forward hard rocker/foot stomper. The chorus, once again, leaves no space for questioning!

Nice review there, i may give it another chance as it's the only RIOT album i can't get into (haven't heard the last one yet).Witchkiller wrote:CIA gets me rumpin'.The lead in the middle combined with the screamin' of Forrester IS DIVINE!

I like it a lot but can understand why others don't as much TONS of blues throughout. C.I.A. is one of the top three RIot tracks of all time.
"WEEEEEE'REEEEEE FIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHTIING IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIN THE STREEEEEEEEAEEEEAAEEEEEEEEEEETS"

Those albums are from two completely different era's.
Not that either of these albums fall into the sub-genres that I'm about to mention but this comparision reminds me of back in the day when I used to constantly read arguments on other boards fighting about whether NWOBHM or Thrash was "better"...
I can't really choose...
