So do you have two copies of the records you keep sealed? If not, then owning a record and never listening to it is ridiculous.

well number one you can find mp3s online
number two im a collector so why would i open something and decrease its value, like when people collect action figures, you dont take them out of the box do you; and yes i do love metal ive been listening to it since i was 4 and im in a metal band so dont think that cause i said i didnt wanna decrease value.

Fuck if it makes him happy keeping them sealed like that who cares, lets not start this shit again. Yeah maybe I'll side with you guys to an extent but it's individual happiness that really matters. I'm bored of this argument.

i still have a sealed mailer with a rare lp in it. some are drooling for it.....

Whenever I get a rare LP, I always pack in a box and vacuum seal it. Then I bury it in my garden. I'm hoping in years to come my Street Child Lp will be looked at in the same way a Roman vase.
