Lauda is a small town, so if yo ureally need a hotel, try it in Tauberbischofsheim, that ´s a bigger town.MEXDefenderOfSteel wrote:well yeah, but what about the cold weather haha...i also prefer camping, maybe you can meet more people, and no noize restrictiones like in a hotelhumus wrote:Me! Olli told me that there are hotels still available.
If you get a waterproof tent and a decent sleepingbag you should be alright. I've also noticed that alcohol makes the cold much more tolerable.MEXDefenderOfSteel wrote:well yeah, but what about the cold weather haha...i also prefer camping, maybe you can meet more people, and no noize restrictiones like in a hotelhumus wrote:Me! Camping was no problem at KiTX, even though it was during the first days of April. KiTXII is almost a month later, but I suspect the night temperatures will still be barely above 0°C. Just bring a decent tent, a good sleeping bag, a thick blanket, warm underwear and an air-mattress (air is a really good insulator!), and you'll have nothing to worry about. Just make sure not to camp too close to the road, as it's heavily trafficked even during the night, and rather noisy. I have a slight problem with that, needing silence to be able to sleep well. Still, I slept like a king, and it was really nice not having to worry about getting back to the hotel after the concerts ended, or having to carry around a lot of LPs all the time. I just dumped them in our car.
Besides, half the fun is just sitting around the camp, listening to good music and drinking beer, waiting for the first bands to start playing!

nice! that sounds promising..cause my last experience camping was at WOA2004, but you got too many different "styles" of persons there hat sometimes is annoying...true metal camping will be fun then hahaKhnud wrote:Camping was no problem at KiTX, even though it was during the first days of April.
