ONE new must hear band

Post by Destrozer »

If there was ONE (only!) new band (the best new band you can think of) you would have to recommend to someone, what band would it be?
New means that they released their debut album in the 2000's or so...

But they've yet to release their debut album.

Other than that, I totally agree with you. Killer sound!

Malediction would be one. OK, their demo was released '99 (according to metal-archives).

Enforcer was the first one that came in my mind even if they haven't released much yet. Looking forward to catch them live here in helsinki next year!

Manilla Road!

But seriously, if there is one new band i would recommend to someone that would be the mighty WRATHBLADE.

I was going to write Slough Feg, but I keep forgetting they've been around since the early 90's

I'm tempted to write PRIMORDIAL too, since they really didn't crystallize as a PRIME Metal act until around 2000.

...but even newer ones? Much harder to pick just one there. Maybe HELVETETS PORT.

And new bands are Victims Of Time, i.e. thread moved.

I think Falconer's debut album is probably my favorite CD of the decade, but I haven't really liked what they've done since, so I don't think I'd nominate them for "Best New Band." Instead, I'll go with Lost Horizon.
