The CD shouldn't be hard to find, don't let the cover discourage you.

Have you listened to Denial Price? They are heavily influenced by old Fates Warning...

Just a few random tracks... I remember feeling the production and vocals were off-kilter, but I'll give them a go again now that I'm older and wiser.

The black fate 2007 promo is also great, if not a bit too polished.

Their demos are far superior to the CD tracks imo, the official recordings didn't do much to me either.

The track "Malediction" on their myspace is pretty magical. The guitarist has a very solid understanding of what he's trying to do, and that's great. Sadly the vocalist is a bit 'plain'. The production I can deal with nowadays, but it's a shame the vocals and guitars don't 'gel'. Is this problem less so in the demos?

No, i don't find the vocals 'plain' in the demos. And as i've already said the guitar work is brilliant considering especially the place and the time the tracks were recorded. About the production, i don't know, i'm never paying much attention to these things generally, only when it's frustratingly unfitting with the kind of music/feeling the band plays...and that didn't happen to Denial Price, so i guess it's passable for my standards. Maybe i should upload a couple of them to judge for yourself.

If you upload the demo I'd love to hear it. I am always interested on the secondary about the history of Greek HM anyway.
