Well, it's in the exact same vein as the other two Apocrypha albums.
Same Power/Thrash with highly technically guitar work.
I'm a big fan of this sub-genre, so I do own this album and I tell you from first hand experience that it's not just an all out guitar-wankery, shredfest album that the likes of Malmsteen/Satriani/Impellitteri would release.
If anything those solo-effort releases should be removed, because they are exactly that.
