Metal Revolution is also my favorite.

Such a huge jump in production as well...

ARMORED SAINT will apparently be one of the headliners.

I couldn't help to let a small *sigh* escape me. I never saw the greatness of that band. With only one co-headliner left to announce I'm crossing my fingers for SLAUTER XTROYES. They're apparently on their way into the studio to record new material.

The gig they played in Athens about 8-9 years ago was the best i've ever attended. Enough said.

I need only one word to describe how I feel about the band: BOOOOOOOORING

What will be the ARMORED SAINT line-up ? I hope there will be John Bush and Joey Vera !

I saw them live at the Dynamo Open Air about 15th years ago (don't remember the year) and I have very good memories of that show !

All's I know is that if Bush isn’t on vocals it won't be Saint...

I'm not at all disappointed knowing that Armored Saint will also headline.

I've always loved the band and it was one of the first bands that got me into more "true" metal.

See the mediocre band thread for more details.

I'll be going again next year.

Hopefully whatever hotel I book won't shut down this time

It's tempting. Would be awsome to see TOKYO BLADE and FLOTSAM & JETSAM, but I'm also thinking about this Yuletide-thing in London in December and don't know if I'll be able to afford both.

I have this vague memory of how F&J were supposed to play the complete "Doomsday.." album the first time they were announced. Anyone know if they're still going to do it? Since it's officially one of the greatest Speed Metal albums ever made it would be quite a heavy argument for going.

Damm you!!! Got mine too, I was number 0015

I'm not going to the November one. Not enough bands that I am that interested in. Plus I want to go to Dutch Doom Day 8 in late October so something has to give

(snip)
I'm definitely going. The line-up is good, plus the crowd I'm going with were hilariously fun in april (KIT X). Staying at the "Post Hotel".

Just seen this on the KIT gayspace page. Interesting...

Hi Friends,

It is time to announce the last band for KEEP IT TRUE 12. It is not a normal "band", cause we are going to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the New Wave Of British Heavy Metal (NWOBHM). This was the most important scene for Heavy Metal ever and we thought KIT would be the perfect place to celebrate this. We will have a fantastic backing band consisting of the NWOBHM tribute band ROXXCALIBUR (www.roxxcalibur.de) and they will play these great tunes together with the original singers from the UK. We plan to get at least 10 or 11 musicians from the NWOBHM over for this special event. The following are the already confirmed NWOBHM heroes:

Brian Ross (Blitzkrieg, Satan)
Jess Cox (Tygers Of Pan Tang)
Russ North (Cloven Hoof)
Lee Payne (Cloven Hoof)
Terry Dark (Jameson Raid)

Additionally to them we will have at least 5 or 6 more famous names from that era. We will announce them as soon as we have the ok from them. We hope this will be a once in a lifetime event for you all and you will all enjoy all the classic NWOBHM hits sung by its original singers. The final billing for KIT 12 looks now like this:
