I got mine on ebay about 2 months ago for $45 shipped.
It seems a fact of life on ebay now that anything listed as PRIVATE METAL will result in a massive scrum of people who are desperate to own everything and will pay whatever it takes. I realise it is a collecting passion for some people but it is just insane some times!

I have won a few of Jim's auctions but the most I ever paid was $50 for Trilogy - Next In Line LP which was roughly £25 at the time

He is not alone.....

He must have serious disposable income to pay nearly $700 for a 7" or is about $100,000 in debt!!

Quoted for truth.

By the way, i really liked that part of the uploaded Ablaze track, but 687$ for a 7" are not for everyone's budget. I don't know what kind of money does that guy who won earn, but judging from his bids he must earn A LOT.

In regards to that King Diamond - Them auction...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... :IT&ih=013

I'm going to offer this to the loser of that auction in the bidding war and see how much profit I can make off of him.

i have to say the my copy has perfect swirls, so its not as cheaply made as a greek boot. my best guess is that it's an asian boot from a few years ago

Yeah, if it doesn't read "SONOPRESS" I'd think that it's a boot...

I used to do that too, but now you can't see the names of the bidders anymore...

I know the seller.

I'll get the account from him.

It is most likely a Columbia House Record Club pressing. No one is going to make a bootleg of such an easily available album. I had this problem with a Sabbat CD not long ago, and later found out that the DIDX matrix indicates it was pressed by Sony in Indiana, and they pressed most of the Columbia House discs. I have seen some Sepultura discs that are the same way.
