Avalon (Can) - Live or die LP 1988

Apart from 2 average tracks this one is nothing less then PURE FUCKING HEAVY METAL. Ripping guitars, rough vocals and an overall great 80's feeling are omnipresent.

I have a problem with my old rip of this album: there's some weird distortion on all the S-sounds in the vocals, that annoying phenomenon you sometimes hear on bad voice recordings. Is this the same?

I had a rip of this album with the same problem, but this one is taken straight from the vinyl, so the problem must be MUCH less. That distortion is also a bit audible on the vinyl but it doesn´t affect the listening experience at all.

Can´t agree with this one John

I don´t know what it is with this album that affects me, but somehow I completely adore this one. The first and last song and the middle part of Freedom shore are boring but the rest is killer. My favourite pick is Wings of steel.

Its a very good album,The lyrical topics are quite epic but the music is not,but I like that you can understand the lyrics very clearly that is a definate plus,The vocals never become annoying,songwriting is good enough to hold my attention, anyways thanks for the upload
