Yes, CRUMBSUCKERS are great, their first album is one of the best of the genre ...

I was expecting to find Sixty Nine listed somewhere here, however they're a lot different from what you'd normally expect to be a crossover band .... Always more of a thrash/death than crossover/thrash album in my book ... Anyhow, Just for the Fun album is fucking amazing, that CD is one of my top wants, can anyone help me? :)

Another band that could fit somewhere in the crossover is THE AG'S, probably way too punkish for many of you here to enjoy, but I love it :) Sorta like later LAWNMOWER DETH.

And the absolute legends: D.R.I.!!

Sacrilege, fuck yeah! And Détente of course!
Early to mid Suicidal is great, but I was looking for more "obscure" bands. About Crumbsuckers, I liked the first album, but the second I found it to be average and boring.
A lot of names have been thrown, I'm gonna have to investigate. Thanks.

In my not so humble opinion, if you want some asskicking crossover try Broken Bones - Losing Control.

Maybe also try:
ANIHILATED
SPERMBIRDS
F.U.C.T.
HELLBASTARD
SAM BLACK CHURCH
C.O.C.
LEEWAY

A lot of this could also relate to 'crust' right?!

& check this out, not really crossover, but great:

Yah, 2 guys from Discharge were in Broken Bones. Don't know how long or for what albums. I'll have a look at my copy of Losing Control and see if either of the 2 played on it here in a few. Gonna grab something to eat right now.

D.R.I.
Cerebral Fix
Leeway
Deathsquad
Guillotine
F.U.C.T.
Mace

That's all that I can think of off the top of my head.

Oh, and if DBC counts as Crossover then so would Acrophet...

So, just... no...

Well, I've just heard the first DBC album and that one is Crossover to me, but then again, the term "Crossover" isn't as solid as others. Oh, and about crust, well, if we include that into Crossover we could mention Amebix, Antisect, Concrete Sox for example. As I said, when I hear the "Crossover" name I think of stuff more like DRI, Cro-Mags, mid 80s The Exploited, etc. But that's just my definition of the genre.

Brejn Dedd. With Dan Swanö (Edge of Sanity and thousands of other bands, on drums/vocals) and It (Abruptum) on vocals.
