Came across this one and something in my head says:"come on, try it again", well, I listen to it again after always hating it and haven't spun it for at least 5 years. I'm completely struck by it, shit, this is really an impressive album. Don't know why it NEVER worked for me and now it hits like a bomb.
Did the very same thing a few months ago, and well, I'm still not 100% convinced. I can see why some people hold it so high, but I still find it a wee bit too slick & slim. "The Warning" is still my fave, and "Rage For Order" > OM. IMHO.

Well Queensryche is kind of a mixed bag for me. I kinda like some of their work but then again some elements in their music turns me off. For example, Geoff Tate's voice sometimes sounds "hypocritical" and annoying. I can't really explain this :P

I listen to The Warning every once in a while to see if they have grown on me and it has some great songs for sure.

FUCK ME WITH A TV-ANTENNA WHY THE HELL! don't I play more quality Metal like OVERLORDE's "Medieval Metal" demo more often?? Is it because I always need to keep up with last week's, often mediocre vinyl purchases? An annoying dilemma that needs to be dissected in a thread of its own shortly. Meanwhile...

Thanks to you guys I opened a beer and put "Rage For Order" on turntable. It has been years since the last time (talking about the RFO. ;) )

Lets see how it sounds. At least the band pictures are something!

About Queensryche, is that live in Live In Tokyo (1985 or something) VHS avaible as DVD? Bootleg perhaps?
