You are right my friend.Although the classic from CRANIUM is the Speed Metal Slaughter from 98.

I will listen this again quite soon.

What i dare to say is that Scandinavia was very poor with thrash metal bands in the past and nowadays.

Rich thrash/speed metal countries are Yugoslavia,Poland,Germany,Greece among some others.

This is not pure thrash. It is in fact a fuckin' evil raw speedy HEAVY METAL album 8)
Who cares? It is thrashy evil speed metal so it qualifies absolutely.

The Oddech Wylmarlych Swiatow from 87 is pure thrash anyway.

Sweden had a lot of Thrash bands, perhaps they weren't that outstanding. But a lot of young Thrash bands transformed into Death Metal at early stage. On the other hand I always considered Slovenian scene as small and poor (and even not worth listening to). In absolute sense it was, in relative senses not. Actually it'd be hard to expect of 2M population to have say 5 killer bands and 30 less killer ones, all living in a mixture of socialist and rural society.

I think I didn't see anybody reccomendig Hirax!
All of their albums are great, but my favorite is "Hate, Fear And Power".
Also, if you don't mind the speed/thrash to be a bit mixed up with other genres, I'd reccomend Amebix - "Arise" (crust influences) and The Accüsed - "The Return Of... Martha Splatterhead" (very strong hardcore/crossover influences).

You gotta hear the first three Coroner albums if you haven't already. Of the albums already mentioned, I highly recommend Toxik - World Circus, Forbidden - Forbidden Evil and Kreator - Pleasure to Kill.

Somebody mentioned Slaughter.I have always considered them more in the Death Metal genre, but Strappado is one of the best extreme metal albums ever.

I've always wondered what would have become of them if they had been more serious. I mean, obviously the whole gimmick thing (the intro of Slaughter on the dance floor anyone?) caused them not to have been taken very seriously by music fans. Maybe the time was not right either, they were a decade too soon with their blatant 80's rip-off.
This being said, I love blatant 80's rip-off bands. Just saw Gama bomb a few hours ago, I like stuff like that.

Some stuff which I don't think was mentioned yet, and which are classics in my book. Well-known bands though.
Agent steel - Skeptics apokalypse
Bulldozer - Everything they did in the 80's
