This one is a lot or rare itiem than KATEDRA's debut(released on Melodya).Its hard to find even here in Lithuania,so the price I think its not so big.I upload this one on Poisonoise.

I often buy wholesale quantity of new releases then onsell with a $2 markup, once all are sold I end up with mine for free and everyone else gets a bargain. I've forged a heavy metal co-op with a few mates to counter the problem of international postage.

As for rare/oop/htf stuff I am resourceful and most important, I use ebay as a last resort, not a first.

As for insane ebay auctions (to keep the thread on track) some unlearned fool just paid $165 for 5 Led.Zep LPs I bought for $3 a piece just a short while back. Not an astronomical figure but a reasonable profit margin.

Sounds to me like he is implying that Greek users on Ebay are all very suspect individuals who spend their time bootlegging CD's.

He probably got burned once and as such he is taring everyone with the same brush

Let's not be hypocritical guys, a fair share of the metal bootlegs CD's came and come from Greece.

I'm not denying the fact that a lot of boots come from my country and even if he wanted to say just that, i don't like the way he put it. "Greece and like places"...What are those "like places", what is that that distinguishes them from his country and makes him speak with such a depreciative tone about them? Somebody should inform him that his country too had its fair share of illegal metal activities in the past and maybe even today. Maybe my English don't help, but that's what i understood from his words and that's why i made the comment.

I guess he refers to the "I dont know if it is frist press or re-press" Greek bootleg seller which registeres new accounts with ebay on weekly basis and just refuses to go away. I think sellers like him are responsible for this reaction and are making Greece synonym for bootleg.

Did he way over-pay for the disc, or did his auction not do as well as it should?
If the former, well, that's exactly why I don't pay more than an item is worth; if I go to sell the item someday, I don't want to get half of what I paid for it. I also don't want to spend so much on records that I then have to start selling other records just to pay my bills. You can't eat vinyl, and cd's don't keep your house warm in the winter.
I know some folks pay big prices thinking they will keep their collection forever, but sooner or later most collectors sell their stuff off. I've been around record collectors my entire life and I've yet to see one who collects until the day he dies and then leaves his collection to a relative who is also a music fan and keeps the collection intact. Sooner or later it all gets sold.

I used to saw this CD on sale for 30FF (less than 5€) in a used shop where I lived before. I always heard it was a crap record, but I guess nowadays every piece of obscure Death-Metal on CD is worth hundreds of euros, be it a diamond or a piece of shit...

EDIT: About bootlegs, yeah, there's Greece and this Unisound thing, yet there's Germany, USA, Sweden, Italy, and France too for sure...

Very true, death metal is popular these days. But keep in mind those crazy collectors prices are only paid by a handfull of dumbasses (we all know their nicknames) who bid against eachother. Look at the first pyrexia album for example: some copies sold for $200+ months ago but the last two only reached $50.

nightsblood, if I remember correclty and if you're reffering to Excruciate CD, one went for around $300 about a year ago. That wizardhatblack guy is now selling Crematory - Denial CD, I guess he only wanted to buy a very very mint copy and he's parting with his just mint now?

Anyhow, he also sold his Mordicous CD few weeks ago ... and bought one from the same seller as Crematory for the same price now
