Seems the Rockport label will be a mess to follow. Do you (tbieri) or anyone else have a clue about how large a part of their early output were Metal/HR? Same with Energy. If it's less than half it feels really uninspiring to continue w/ that label. I'm putting up a STOP-sign on Rockport until we've done some more research and come up with a good way to catalogue the Metal stuff.
Same thing with Bellaphon/Bacillus really. As I understand it Bellaphon were both a label and a distributor with a majority of non-Metal releases (for instance, some Metal Enterprises records also carry the Bellaphon logo)
Interesting that about BRAINSTORM. I'll put them at the top for now.
Edit: Cheers Peter! One mystery less - a thousand to go...
Did all updates except those Energy-thingies. The Bellaphon- and Rockport-discogs are now officially on hold. Just google the label names and see why..
Read the History ! Obviously Bacillus was not part of Bellaphon since the beginning ! But you also can read a big Bullshit there : "In the 1980s the Bacillus label wasn't used for any new releases. " Hello ???
So when you need this Covers, let me know !
HUNTER - ..Keep The Change 1987 LP
LOVETRICK - Lovetrick 1990 LP
MEPHISTO - In Search Of Lost Refuge 1991 LP
I think one of BLIND PETITION was released on ENERGY too ! Probably the Live one !
Cheers! Let me know if you can fill any holes or correct any errors.
Just added New Renaissance Records. I could use some help w/ stuff like tape bonus tracks, colored vinyls, CD releases, a few holes etc.. if anyone's in the know...
I just read the introduction about Pentagram Records and now it's finally clear to me why both Phantom Lord and Devil Childe have some riffs that are identical to certain Pentagram riffs.
PL: I'm in H.E.A.T. (Pentagram - Drive me to the grave on sub-basement)
DC: Grave robber (one of the uptempo songs on Relentless)

The Ladykillers comp has 2 bonus tracks on the cassette: Deep Freeze - "No Last Words" and Hellion - "Put the Hammer Down".
