I've recently got my copies of these three releases and I have a few questions:

Regarding the King's Ransom - Curators Of The Realm CD:

Where are the 8 bonus tracks taken from and when were they recorded?

Regarding the Steel Prophet - Shallows Of Forever CD:

Where is "In The Dream" taken from and when was it recorded?

Also, several of the tracks appear on multiple previous releases from over the years. Are these tracks all taken from the first two demos in '86 and '88 or from other later releases?

I want to add that the Salem Spade demo LP is GREAT!!! These guys deliver some great US-metal on those demo's and it's getting better after each spin.

I can tell you that Steel Prophet "In The Dream" is the first track on side A of the compilation lp "Iron Tryants: Waging War" which is World Metal Records catalog # WMR 002 1986 along with 9 other bands.

Thanks man.

I guess I've got another album to throw on to my "to be heard" list.

I agree. My LP turned up on Saturday and I have only have heard the first side but it sounded good.

Out of interest, did anyone else have to whack up the volume to a high level as it seemed to come over quite quiet?

(....and I know I should have turned it up to eleven....)

I just went over the Steel Prophet booklet and apparently all of the tracks are from the demo era, So I guess that answers that question.
