I really love the guitar sound on Priest's 'Killing Machine'. Some other albums:
Cathedral - Soul Sacrifice EP
Trouble - s/t (1990)
Coroner - Mental Vortex
Rigor Mortis - s/t
Sentenced - North from Here
Obituary - The End Complete
Metal Church - s/t
I think that the actual sound of 'Seven Churches' contributes to a lot of its appeal. Also, the tone on those first five songs from Fate's ' Return of the Vampire' is beyond morbid. And I know that Metallica is probably a dirty word here, but... 'Kill 'Em All'? Now, that's the sound I can appreciate.

Another equal sound to Destruction's "Eternal devastation" and Necronomicon, is Juggernaut's "Trouble Within", can't get enough of this guitar sound.Rob wrote:Bought the rereleases and advice them to every teutonic thrash fan. Yeah, great guitar sound. They were always compared to destrucion at the time, so it's logical when thinking on Destruction guitar sound to think on Necronomicon as well.Fucking Åmål wrote:[These three albums have been rereleased on CD last year from BattleCry records so they are not so rare.:
