Rattlehead is one of the nicest guys to buy from. I won a Le Griffe EP from him yesterday; it's no Solar Eagle, but I'm happy to have won it
Has Solar Eagle always been this expensive? I don't remember it being one of those 'monster rarities' that everyone and their mother just had to own 10-15 years ago. Did this one jump in price after getting circulated on that 'forgotten metal' bootleg series of CDs, or was it always this valuable and in-demand and I just never realized it? At least it's pretty good musically.

It must always have been incredible rare. I've never seen one with my own eyes. It's one of those rare records I could give $300,- for; it's worth all the fucking money though. This one along with the original Tyrant's Reign MLP are the only rare US records I still need.nightsblood wrote:Rattlehead is one of the nicest guys to buy from. I figure it was always rare since the pressing was low, I just don't remember it being so well-known and popular in the past. Nowadays it's on everyone's 'must have' llist, but I never heard it mentioned back in the 1990s.

I have bought that one at about the same time from ebay, for 3 GBP or so. Although mine came in a "vomit pack" (plastic sleeve is full of fake vomit), perhaps there were more vomit pack versions than the regular ones?? I know that both versions have the same cat. number (Vomit ..), so perhaps this was originally released just as a vomit pack and all the "non-vomit" versions used to have that fake vomit, but someone lost it in the past 20 years?

A recent (2005 or so) bootleg (some people say that it's the official re-press, others don't, I don't really know); it was released in 500 copies:

Jim from Power Play records announced an official re-release two years ago, but still hasnt gotten around to release it... if he waits a little more I wont be surprised to see this bootlegged again, especially after scoring such insane prices for the previous bootleg.sovdat wrote:A recent (2005 or so) bootleg (some people say that it's the official re-press, others don't, I don't really know); it was released in 500 copies:
