The bad,the worst and the cult...Covers!
Well I believe it was chosen as a political statement that type of seal is well known in Canada as subject to a large hunt every year and has caused much controversy,I don't believe they are legally allowed to kill them that young anymore, its a common image used by the seal hunt opponents though as they like to play into peoples emotions.
It looks the same as every other black metal cover.Cochino wrote:Ok, I'm gonna do a bit of self promotion here, but a lot of people had told me that my band's demo cover sucks. I did it myself, and I had the intention of making it look trashy, but seemingly I just made it suck. I totally love it.
What's your opinion?

Oh it's toilet, I was wondering what that was.Cochino wrote:Is not a black metal band, and I don't know many covers with a toilet with a world inside of it, a nuclear explosion and a bunch of zombies coming out of the toilet's water deposit, but that's just me, there must be like 1000 covers like that.
The cover doesn't suck but it isn't that good either. The cover would fit a crossover band that don't take themselves seriously.
I hope you do know Pedo is short for pedophile in the English language.
Yeah, but since the band's lyrics are in spanish, I don't really care about that (it means "Fart" in spanish).
My band plays Death Metal, but also has a certain punk/crossover thing going on, and we take ourselves seriously, which doesn't mean that we don't have a sense of humor in our lyrics. We're 100% serious about the music, and I try to do the lyrics as good as I can, but most of the time, with some humor on them. More like Macabre than Brujeria.

It was more in reference to the logo and the fact that the only colors present are black and white.Cochino wrote:Is not a black metal band, and I don't know many covers with a toilet with a world inside of it, a nuclear explosion and a bunch of zombies coming out of the toilet's water deposit, but that's just me, there must be like 1000 covers like that.
It doesn't matter what the picture that's not easily viewed is of.
If you are going to get defensive over opinions then don't ask for them.

Sorry, man. That's the problem with the internet, you can put a tone in what you're saying so it might get misunderstood. i didn't mean to get defensive or anything like that, I just found it funny 'cause I hate black metal. The cover is black and white because is cheaper to do the copies, and if it haves so much probles in being understood, then I must admit its a bad one.
Again, didn't mean to sound offended nor to offend anyone, just found funny that you think that it looks like an average BM cover, that's all.

Type "black metal logo" on google image search and then tell me that again please.Black Axe wrote:It isn't a BM cover at all. Most Black Metal logo's are far more abstract and the cover would be more evil or feature trees.
And black and white is used in all genre's, especially on demo's.
Obviously not every logo is exactly the same down the millimetre...

I get stuff like this:Avenger wrote:Type "black metal logo" on google image search and then tell me that again please.Black Axe wrote:It isn't a BM cover at all. Most Black Metal logo's are far more abstract and the cover would be more evil or feature trees.
