Found and uploaded. Ion wanted this, but everybody else even a little bit into progressive metal should check it out.

Huge thanks for this demo! It is a great one and in the same vein with Behind's material, the strong Fates Warning influences on the 1st track reveal some of the band's favorite listenings i guess.

Yeah those are in my mind 'lost tracks' from Behind. I listen to them with it. And that riff is totally a Fates Warning lift, heh

I am searching for any members of Mayfair for interview purposes so if you ever run into any of them online do let me know. I know about the Sodastar connection, I've e-mailed that way.

I can point you to Little, their drummer,I've found him on MySpace. I already had that demo and I'm looking for their previous one,the name skips me now, something like "Kill A King" or like that

Awesome that you like it. Hunt down at least the record that came after it. Or you know, even better, here is the rest of their discography

http://rapidshare.com/files/59480429/1993_-_Behind.rar

http://rapidshare.com/files/83304799/19 ... Flucht.rar

(listen at least up to here)

All these are on dead labels like Music is Intelligence and stuff and the band is over, so it's okay to download them.

Damn I would upload those if I had a faster connection too! Note that "Die Flucht" was released in the US as "Escape" so if you see it on eBay,don't think that this is another record of them,it's Die Flucht. And yeah, listen up to the first 2 records :)

No reply yet from their drummer on myspace :(

Child do you speak their language? Could you navigate the site of Sodastar and see if there's any contact info (actual tangible e-mail adresses) for Mario anywhere there? I don't understand a single word of that website but I managed to send a 'contact form' message which I don't trust since I'm sure it goes through the webmaster and not to the band. Mario's no longer in Sodastar but I think that's my best bet for getting in touch.

I've become so obsessed I am transcribing lyrics just from listening to the songs on Escape/Find My Screams.
