You should check out their 2003 "Primal" CD,although there's nothing "savagely brutal" about it!

Suffocation is brutal, I'm not saying is a raw band, like many old school out there, but yes it is brutal.

Suffocation are savagely brutal, but not prog.

Actually we need an even mixture of Psychotic Waltz and Suffocation for example. With a pinch of Ligeti. Or wholly Ligeti undertoned. So which bands would sacrifice itself for that aim?

Who the hell is Ligeti?!?! Anyway,I think this is a pointless search,we could as well be searchings for ultra-fast doom metal or drone/thrash. Just put Energetic Disassembly on your deck or CD-player and turn the volume up!

It was more like suggestion to certain (future) members - players who would stumble upon this thread and found the idea appealing .

No, seriously. It'd be hard to find someone who'd be eager to cooperate in such heavy, experimental work, quite possibly without success.

Any serious heavy metal fan who has some affection for progressive and brutal metal styles should be eager to help.

Well, ultra fast doom metal perhaps isn't possible, but SB progmetal in my opinion is. As well as drone thrash.

Well, ultra fast doom metal perhaps isn't possible, but SB progmetal in my opinion is. As well as drone thrash.

Sludge or even grunge perhaps, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden could be examples of slow heavy music.

Do you like Yes (the band form UK)?

Yes. Certain albums to a certain degree. But haven't listened to them in ages.

I have "Fragile" on LP which I like very much, it was one of my first records 20 years back
