Mercyful Fate in my opinion never released anything else but ultra-great albums.
Apart from the first two albums I generally like and think King Diamond have been much more consistent as a band.

doomedplanet wrote:thanks, I could see it but could not tell what it was from the russian script. Is it any good? I only have 2 7" singles from russia, I wonder how many metal singles were actually made in this country? as I rarely see them, almost never compared to the lps.
Yeah, I didn't even realise I was getting a 7" until it came in the mail. First one I've ever seen. Unfortunately, it's not very good. The first song is a ballad, another is some oldies rock 'n roll crap and the one metal song is pretty good but doesn't seem to know what it wants to be.

What do you think of this one? I've got about 3 copies laying around I found at a discount store I got them all for a dollar each so I hope you didn't pay full price for it,Its pretty good overall but I don't think that guys vocals fit very well.

Almost missed this one. What year is this? I don't recognize the titles.

Concerning russian Metal 7"s, I know of 5 bands who made singles prior to their debut LPs, all on the Melodia label: SPRUT, BLACK COFFE, FIRST AID (under a different name, forgot it..), HARD DAY and GALAKTIKA. (I really need SPRUT and GALAKTIKA if someone has extras)

The 3 songs on the GALAKTIKA ep are taken from a tape album recorded before their first LP btw. Unfortunately it's only that one Metal track from the EP worth hearing. Love the debut LP though.

it is Polish Turbo's first 7" from 1979 or 1980 on Tonpress Records. However, more or completely 70es Rock, not Metal at all.

I have the Galatika LP as well, how much do you think it's worth?

P.S. New Eden rule!!!
P.S.2 Yes the new Lizzy Borden is great,I didn't expect it to be so good. It also has one track which is exactly the same as Crimson Glory's Eternal World for its first minute or so! ;)

It's one of the most common HM/HR albums on Melodia and shouldn't cost more than 10-15 euros.
