It occurs to me that you could still do a few all-Canadian updates in the interim, (if your collection permits), just to keep the pot boiling.

Yes, I have considered this.
But unfortunately US 45s outnumber the Canadians 10 to 1.

Yeah, that's a major flaw in my brainwave. I might be able to assist in making it a little more workable as i likely have at least a few Canadian 45's or EP's that aren't yet on your radar. I'd be more than happy to take a deep dive into my HD's & CD-r's in search of candidates to pass your way if it'd help keep those reviews coming.

Unfortunately I will most likely take a longer break from this project. The truth is I’m absolutely appalled by the current US administration. It has chosen to abandon its allies and instead focus on embracing a murderous dictator, a wanted war criminal hell bent on the military conquest of his neighbours. Basically everything our fathers and grandfathers fought for during the last 80 years has been completely thrown out the window, in just a few weeks.

As a result I don’t have the slightest interest in promoting anything related to the US right now. I still have over 200 North American 45s left in my collection to review. Some known, some unknown. Some good, some bad. But everything has to wait. I know you shouldn’t mix music with politics, but this has simply gone way, way too far. And I believe it’s going to get even worse. My apologies to every decent American out there (I know there are plenty, still), but I just can’t do it.

I won't argue with you as you do have every right to take any stance that suits you. I mean over here most of us are absolutely disgusted with things. We've been given a shit sandwich & have it shoved down our throats.

Some ancient lyrics from 37 years ago seem quite prophetic.
