A truly amazing album has been released these days!
Hailing from Greece and delivering majestic lyrical epic heavy metal it is Arysithian Blade and their first album Iriath.
Giannis Aktypis’ (Protean Shield) masterful Tsamis-like guitars, Petros Vasileiadis’ (Protean Shield, Afterimage) amazing galloping basslines and Christos Papadakis’ (Afterimage) special emotional voice compose one of the best heavy metal albums of the year.
Influences from Warlord and Lordian Guard are more than obvious, but I also get vibes of bands like Adramelch and Greek “pop/ethnic/composers’” music.
This is a concept album about the imaginary world of Iriath figment of Papadakis’ imagination.
It is being released by the renowned Arkeyn Steel.
I don’t want to be “overexcited” but most likely it is one of the best Greek epic metal albums ever!
Please pay attention!

Well, I am definitely getting it. Have only listened to it in passing but it sounded interesting and it should be my kind of thing
I know I ain't doing much,
doing nothing means a lot to me.
