After BALTIC, there's an excerpt of BLACK WIDOW - Come To The Sabbath
and whole THE HOOKERS - Teenage Blood and SVARTANATT - Filled Up With Darkness
Is that Zombie Cha-Cha by POST TRAUMATIC? Of course, if that is Zombie Cha-Cha.
Yes, yes, yes & no. That's not our zombie.

I plumped for the edited single version for the mix purely because of time considerations, the full length song from OGWT is a killer. Here's another great live version (9 and a half minutes long!) from the Miidnight Special TV show in 1973.

I heard CCR at about 39 minutes. Don't know the song thought.
BTW. Did you know that "Rockin all over the world" from Status Quo was also written by John Fogery?
Saw both live in July and both bands where playing the song!
I was very surprised!

You did indeed, the song was 'Sinister Purpose' from the 'Green River' LP.
I did know that Fogerty originally wrote 'Rockin'...' but i'd assumed it was a Quo original for decades before i found out the truth.
Yours was an interesting way to find out, who played it better live?

Status Quo. But all in all the Status Quo gig was quite dissapointing.
John Fogerty was very good!
Funny thing was that John Fogery was telling that he did get back the rights of his songs after more than 30 years!
2 songs later he was playing "Rockin all over the world"!
Don't know if this was directly a target against Status Quo!?

I doubt it was directed at Quo. He was probably just referring to how badly he was ripped off by Fantasy Records (in one of the worst record deals in Rock history). Despite writing 99% of the classic CCR songs, the record company owned the publishing rights so he barely made a penny from his work.

Thanks for the link. Everything's clear now.
I heard about Soul Zaentz as producer and rights owner of "Lord of the Rings" movies.
Didn't know that he was in the music business before.
So it seems that he could make his movies with the money of John Fogerty.

Glad you found it an interesting read tbieri.
Even in a business well known for it's greed, abuses of power & sleazy practices Zaentz still stood out as a particularly reprehensible scumbag.
