Re: Keep It True 2019 roll call
Speachless...
*but my mind-cogs keep turning on the fitting-vocalist-dilemma..?*
Re: Keep It True 2019 roll call
Yeah, me too. But this is weird/exclusive/cool enough to convince me to buy a ticket for next year after all. Even though I wasn't planning on attending.

Re: Keep It True 2019 roll call
I’m not a great fan, so I might be missing something, but why would it be such a dilemma to find a singer for a Legend show? Last time I heard the album, the vocal wasn’t anything terribly unique.
In other news, Elixir is reforming to play, which excites me so much more!

Re: Keep It True 2020
The calm, solemn vocal style of Kevin Nugent is rather unique I think, at least compared to what we hear in Metal today. I'd hate it if he was replaced by some classic, high-pitched Power Metal wailer ...well, maybe not that likely, but I do hope they really make the effort of finding someone special.
ELIXIR was great news too!

Two words regarding Legend: Mike Scalzi.
I think that would/could/should work.....

Re: Keep It True 2020
Slough Feg just confirmed for the warm up show, so yeah the odds of it being Scalzi are very low.

Re: Keep It True 2020
The same thought struck me the moment I read that post on fb. Yes, that would be a perfect match.
Overall a cool idea with some proper shows at the pre-party. We've been going there every night for as long as I can remember and it's been more Tradition than fun to be honest. Could this be the beginning of the festival growing into a 3-day event one wonders...
Re: Keep It True 2020
Can you pay at the door to the warm up show?

Re: Keep It True 2020
The warm up show is sold out regarding the online reservations, but there will be 50 more tickets available at the doors.

Re: Keep It True 2020
I'm glad I can make it to KIT next year, finally scored a ticket. I'm not much into Legend; ok album with some superb songs but with an awful long drumsolo which kills it for me. Maybe I should revisit it but I cannot remeber it being that memorable. Overall, drum and bass solos are not done on a rock/metal album, they should support the compositions, not soloing it
Long Live The Loud !!!

KIT 2020: first acte de présence of Humus since KIT 2013.
Re: Keep It True 2020
I'll be there in 2020, maybe for the last time

Re: Keep It True 2020
In general I find myself bored by most of the bands. Also kind of want to maybe go to some other festivals.
It's not decided of course. The social side is still great so I'm sure i'll end up signing up for 2021...
