That Lord Ruyr cost me more than the original single!
Another lonely night, another no name town
it starts to look the same, it starts to bring me down
so many promises you knew I'd never keep
I'll make it up to you, baby, don't give up on me
Two weekends with a record fair, a bunch of good purchases in the category 'filling gaps in the classics-collection', but also some nice scores in the 'filling gaps in the not so common-collection':
Wizz - Crazy Games
Witchfinder General - Death Penalty (clear)
Heavy Metal Army - Heavy Metal Army 1 (w/ OBI and insert)

These bands had to play radio friendly material in order to get a record deal and their albums distributed by big record companies. That's why independent bands like the mentioned ones or Blackfire couldn't release albums back in the day. They simply refused to play 70 % ballads. lol
The band Bloodshed even had to change their name to Blackshed to keep on releasing albums. Well, all these malay vinyls are special ones, released mainly for airplay promotion. There aren't much available, officially they are only sold as cassettes. So get what you can ...
Totally agree on this.
Just got this lot myself.
Rockerz is top, Spring and Dynamik are also good.
Thought this find, especially since it was unearthed in a Value Village (thrift store) in Washington State (west coast) USA! was worth mentioning. Musically I rather enjoyed it, "vocally", well let's just say this may appeal to others but not this kid...
This was last month as far as noteworthy scores are concerned, Everything is first press except the Mercy of course. Lots of big wants crossed off the list (Credo, Black Death, DI6, Nifelheim etc.), but most important : only quality music!
And some CDs and tapes (Rommel are dubs obviously, but pretty good one!)
Recently went to a record fair here in the Southern US. Pics not available, so you'll just have to read about what I found:
Starz- Violation LP (overlooked 70s hard rock band)
Misfits- boot recording from Michigan, 1983
Misfits- 12 Hits from Hell unofficial release
Venom- Welcome to Hell 1st pressing, nice condition, w/ both pink insert and poster.
Was really happy to get the Venom; it's a lot cleaner than the copy I had, and my copy, despite coming straight from Neat's surplus stock, was not the first print run and thus lacked the poster and had a white insert that looked like a cheap photocopy.
I'm often a sucker for Misfits bootlegs.
Starz was one I had been wanting and I used to see all the time, but of course as soon as I intended to buy it every copy vanished.

Only thing I have found is another copy of Venom - Black Metal w/ the poster and a Lee Aaron s/t album. Have not really been looking as I have been focusing on getting my health issues taken care of. Just had a cancer screening for my lungs and it came back negative so that makes me feel better right off the bat
Original US heavy metal 1980s World War III tapes, also is a late 70s tape of Imperial Machine with Lead singer of WWIII on vocals, never heard of these guys before
