Yeah, checked it out yesterday...kind of shitty black/death/thrash with horrible production. It's supposed to be recorded back in the 80s - seems like a gimmick to sell a few more copies by gaining a cult status

I'm no Black Metal expert as that sub-genre is not my cup of tea and therefore provides no interest in listening to this but if it's true that this band lied about the recording date in attempt to up their historical significance that's a new level of sad.

There's little info about this release and I sure as hell will not going to get a copy just to find out a thing or two about it, but here's my two cents on it: 1. There are some reworked Necrophagia songs in it written back in 1987. The "progression" doesn't feel very logical : a band with clear vocals playing killer thrash in '87 to go to shitty blackened death metal with awful production in 1-1,5 year's time. 2. The album sounds post 2000 - I have a hard time recalling a band playing this particular style so early. 3. In the rare occasion that bands with such sound existed in the 80's chances were they were pretty good and pioneering musically contrary to the recording in question.
