I'm with Khnud 100% on this one. LOTCA is one of the greatest records out there.
meehh ... wasn't it released on Grudge Records?
That label had a strange taste seriously ... sooooo many great US Metal demo bands out there and they picked out LOTCA or Grudge ... lol

Yeah, originally released on Grudge Records. If I'm not mistaken LOTCA was some kind of studio project from the guys at the label. I think it's basically the guys from the band Grudge with fake names. So yeah, pretty strange.
Never seen this as a promo, picked it up awhile back and forgot about it, not really my thing so I may trade it. Anybody else seen a promo version of this disc?

Maybe if it wasn't for the interludes between every single song.
I love them! I think it works perfectly with the atmosphere and mystery behind the record. BTW you can understand what he's saying if you play those intros at 45 . I can't remember what they say, swords & sorcery stuff probably. It was a cool discovery though.
It's an album I have to be in the mood for. Most of the time I just like what I'm hearing to transition from one song to the next without trying to be overtly story like. I would rate it higher if it weren't for the interludes.
It's still a decent album but not comparible with the Dutch classics in the photo.
Defender is pure Power/Speed Metal bliss. A perfect reprensentation of that sub-genre mixture.

In Stockholm? Bastard! I always check the compilation-slot in the Swedish section of the local stores for that one + some other mixed ones - I've NEVER come across Klipp-Rock yet

I recently got that 2-DIGI CD pack from Morbid Saint. That second cd "Destruction System" blew me away. Always thought it would be a lame late Testament sounding crap album but man, it does sound like demolition hammer second one and the likes.
Nice release. The lp version of "Destruction System" you should get that beauty too.
