I've waded through the whole but gnashing with teeth towards the end.Ernest Thesiger wrote:I couldn't get through more than one & a half songs on the Preachers' album before pressing Stop & deleting the whole thing in dismay. Christ. Dark Ages, however, were quite listenable.

First of all tnx for sharing this. I don't what's to admit here ... this album is actually quite good. Motorhead/punk admiring i.e.early Warfare with help of electronics. I love these detuned vocals, glissandos are fantastic. If this is not Metal then it could be heavy polimer, i.e. heavy carbon or heavy kevlar. ...and it's not only the vocals. You get the impression they really went out of their way to write the most nonsensical, watered-down piece of crap songs imaginable. So some people here actually got into THRASHQUEEN, DARK AGES and THE PREACHERS - confusing, yes - but seriously, no one can seriously say that KUSTER are anything but horrible.

Is this the EP with about 5 songs on it and the band looking like a really OTT glam-"metal" band? If so I got the impression they were a punk/crossover act taking the pissdoomedplanet wrote:actually this KUSTER material is entertaining in a weird sort of way, not sure how to put it into words. But if you want FAR FAR worse you need to hear the AFTERBIRTH 7". I don't have it anymore since I dumped it years ago but I'm not sure if it is so hard to get, never looked for it again.

And yes, KUSTER is surely entertaining. Grrreat party-album. Or more of a mood-enhancer really..

as requested by Axecrazy the 2nd RED MACHETE 7" from Detroit. Not really anything more than some melodic rock/metal, nothing too exiting, but not sure if it fits in this thread. You can decide. This 7" does not have a sleeve, or I would post a photo. If the 1st 7" shows up on ebay you can be sure I will be bidding on it. but maybe I will change my mind if I get to hear it again after 8 years since the last time.
