Yes mine has less than 14 pages too (lyrics are there).
One staple (that's how it's called ;) ), but I don't feel/see this 'wavyness' you say. I don't know, maybe Sovdat has another version ?
Does your cd have an engraved IFPI code ?

It does have an engraved IFPI code. Very hard to read it. From the non-playing side it's below the "R" of the CARBIDE logo.

The matrix is: L384 5570-1002 B51114-06

As for the booklet I don't know. Feels kind of cheaply made - it's different in feel and texture from standard booklets.

If it has an IFPI-code it was made after 1996, so it can't be the first press from 1994.

It means there probably was a second pressing. Could be possible that it was around the release of the EP. Anyway it seems totally legit it and I do not remember this CD being bootlegged. I bought it a couple of years ago from chebanana.

The IFPI is 6100.

And to add the questions together (I'm on a roll  ) - I know that the Visitor CD has a bootleg flying around - is it the usual album title matrix bootleg or does it copy the old 1993 matrix?

So there is no other boot only the usual greek one? Good to know. As for Carbide - does your copy Helstar also have the engraved IFPI?

Yes it's exactly the same as your version (1 staple, less than 14 pages, engraved IFPI 6100).
We have to see if it's a second press or if Sovdat version is like this too.

For Visitor, there's only that boot AFAIK.

Incidentally Visitor re-released their album in 2010 by themselves correct? Does anybody know if that version is different (remastered?) and what matrix it has? Did anybody get it?

Yes I bought one from the band in 2011. I have no idea if it has been remastered, I guess it is just a repress. Matrix is "M106222C-1 01".

Thanks - this is what I will do probably.

As a sidenote - did anybody buy from this guy? He lists a lot of things but does not provide CD pictures for them so I am wondering if he is legit.

I do not think so. Big Rig fairly recently released a bootleg of N.M.E. (before the 2CD reissue) so I think Dark Angel release is a bootleg.

Also does anybody know the status of the Wild Dogs reissues on Northwind Records? I know Northwind was a legit label and those reissues have bonus tracks and are licensed by Matt McCourt but does he own the material? The also reissued "Reign Of Terror" which does not even feature Matt! So do you think those are legit or should I avoid buying those?
