I have both of the Corroseum Comps already, so it makes no difference to me, but it wouldn't be my choice of host for future uploads as many people seem to have difficulties with it.
Latterly i was using mirrorcreator when i was still blogging, which had the advantage of simultaneously uploading your files to multiple hosts, allowing people to choose the site which suited them best.

You can choose up to 12 hosts as a free user, but the links do tend to die quite quickly.
Since then i've shared some stuff using a site someone recommended to me called 1fichier which turned out to be very good.

It seems to be one of those problems that will never truly be solved unfortunately. As soon as one site emerges as the popular choice for uploaders it gets targeted by the powers-that-be and we have to go back to the drawing board to look at the alternatives all over again.
