Maybe a long shot but does anyone know how to tell if these Saint Vitus cd's are the genuine thing or bootlegs? According to discogs there are bootlegs of both but it doesn't say how to tell them from the real thing.

"C.O.D." (1992) Nuclear Blast America
"Die Healing" (1995) Hellhound Records
Chroming Rose “Pressure” LP found! :D

As far as I remember for "Die Healing" there were color differences between the original and the copy. The picture on the CD was blurry on the bootleg too. I don't remember about the matrix but I think it was different too.
For "C.O.D." I don't know which are the differences, I own the original but never saw the bootleg.

I don't know how to tell the difference between fake or legit ones, I have originals of both, my copy of C.O.D. is manufactured by american helix, my die healing is made in Czech by GZ.
C.O.D. matrix is "MANUFACTURED BY AMERICAN HELIX" *CD03938* W.O. # E35741-3 HELL017
Die healings matrix is GZ G30612 H 0035-2UX

Thanks. It would seem my copy of Die Healing is a boot which is perhaps not surprising. I always thought the cover and booklet looked a little suspicious.

I'm going to guess my copy of C.O.D. is legit. The matrix matches that of slayerhatesusall's copy and it looks much sharper and more genuine than Die Healing. I will be selling it since I picked up the recent reissue with bonus tracks.

I got the Hadez - Aquelarre CD on Brutal records just a few days ago,it was rather cheap.

The press looks budgety as hell, the booklet is semi gloss pro printed but the tray insert is a b/w copy on normal paper.

I asked another guy who owns it and his is just as well. Did every CD come with a cheap copy of the tray insert or was there an amount of pro printed tray cards as well?

It wouldn't surprise me if most copies came like mine, maybe they needed to cut down printing costs for this one, living in Peru and all...?

No. The picture for this listing is of the wrong item. This Rapiid Tears CD is a greek bootleg and has never been officially released on this format.

Thank you for that info. If it's not cheaper now I guess it is out of my price range (although I thought Lazarus Sin was the same price range and that one cost me a reasonable amount).

The Lazarus Sin copy you bought was the second pressing though.

True but still I think it is worth more than what I paid for it. But that is just me. Just glad I have it really :)
