Is there a bootleg of this around? And how to recognize the original.
Here it is: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Carbonized-For- ... 1072736270
I would say very easy to distinguish.

Why the release date of Vulture - Easier To Lie is given as 1993 in most sources? The booklet says "Recorded & Mixed in January 1992". no 1993 anywhere in the artwork, why everyone seems to think this was released in 1993 gathering dust on a shelf for more than a year?

"recorded & mixed" does not equal pressed. I don't know when the Vulture CD really came out, just pointing this fact out.

I know that, but the usual time between recording & mixing and hitting the shelves is usually a few months at most. In other words - most albums are released the same year they are recorded, unless the recording was made in December.

Because people online tend to read misinformed information in one place and post it many times over in other places causing a on going cycle of ignorance.

I would agree that this record most likely was released in 1992 but of course do not have the evidence to prove so.

I have started my own personal database to catalogue my collection which of course is a large task/work in progress and will eventually make it avalible online. When that day comes it will put all of these other sites to shame.

Does anybody have any info on the Brazilian label Urubuz Records? The recently re-released some Viking, Nasty Savage, Intruder albums and all are supposed to be legit licenses from Metal Blade with expanded booklets, bonus tracks etc. Does anybody have any info on this? Are these guys legit?

Yep, it has to be the boot then :?

With the engraved IFPI it would have been very very hard to say.

As was already said, there should also an IFPI Code engraved in the clear center ring.

I don't know how well that would show up on a scan though.
