How does that Star Gazer sound? I just got myself a german metal single, the Yuma 7''. Great stuff!
Here's a picture of the 4 singles that always was on top of my wantlist since 10 years ago. Feels more than good to finally have them in the collection.
There's nothing really wrong with this. A little generic but it has charm.
I don't like the layered vocals during the screams on the first track though.
Regarding Star Gazer, It’s not bad but the keys have always put me off on this one. It would be so much better without them. The keyboardist is trying to steal the show rather then just adding background atmosphere.

Yeah, have Yuma too. Someone has found the band and sold the last singles they had for 19,99 E at ebay which was quite cheap as they usually did cost arund 30 Euros when a copy surfaced. The same guy also sold CD's (or CDR's?) with the complete Yuma discography incl. demos but I've just searched and it seems he sold all by now. The EP isn't bad, but I think their songwriting lacks a bit. But still it's solid german Power Metal.
Btw, I think the Star Gazer keyboards really giving them that mystic touch. They B-side track without keys wouldn't be the same great, though I'm not a big friend of synth stuff in Metal music. Too bad they totally wimped out on the album.

I am not that much into German Metal
there are some records that i think are masterpieces but there were many releases that i can't stand,
for example, Exhaust have one of the worst singers ever with a horrible-horrible accent:
Haha ... then I'll give you an free advice, never try Tusk!
This is my first participation for this topic, i've recevie lot of good records last times, but some of them are still sealed so i took a picture of it, hope you like this collection picture
