I just got my The Regime "U.G.L.Y." CD from secondhandrecords from Ebay. All seemed to be well but the CD arrived it has a photocopied quality booklet without any lyrics - does not look like the copies I have seen. Compared it to my friends copy which has normal bookelt with lyrics inside. It is enough to say I'm feeling pissed off.

Edit: Though I must add my copy seems to be released by Molten Metal USA and not by Metal Reign like most copies I have seen.

This issue would be half your own fault for failing to inquire about the CD prior to buying.

Possibly but no sources I have seen indicate there is a second issue of this CD with a booklet like that. Anyways the CD plays so it is not such a bad deal. Now I just need to find the proper release on Metal Reign Records.

There is also a bootleg CD-R of this on one of the many retrospect "sub-labels" if I am not mistaken.

Do your homework before buying.

seller: pumpkinrec (German) just changed the name for rock-you-24-7

name: Bernhard Grüner

just bought (buy it know) 3 LPs on November 17th and received the package 2 weeks ago (2 months after) BUT with only 2 LPs.

Had to open a case against the seller in December (item not received) before talking to him asking where was my stuff! Which he answered after a long, long time, only a month after 11 December:
"i don’t have received payment... Please pay on my paypal-account: pumpkinrec@online.de... 45,08 for all 3 records inc. shipping rates"

Well I was a bit confused because so much time had already passed and I was in doubt whether i had actually made the payment. But in my ebay was marked as payment made on 18 November, so i had checked my bank account. The payment was done by bank transfer on November 18th, and I warned him that the transfer was made on the same day through a message.

I closed the case after received the package but did not close for the missing LP, which German ebay did because i did pay with bank transfer and not with paypal, and so do not give me a full refund.

I had contact the guy about the missing LP and he answered: "I’ve the info’s from ebay for two lps."
After this i send an email with all the details of the order. And until know no answer from Bernhard Grüner and no LP.

note: "45,08 for all 3 records inc. shipping rates" written by him on 12 December email

I've dealt with PumpkinBernd maybe a hundred times and NEVER ever had any trouble. He's very serious imo. Maybe he just lost the survey a bit about your transaction ...

Seller refused to give me any information about the authencity of the item, did not send me any pictures and didn't responded me at all after he told me that once.

Opened a case already 5 days after the auction ended without sending me any explanation. Still refused to send me pictures so I could pay the money and we could finalize the deal.

Closed case -> blacklist!

I did write him a message about three days before the auction ended and received nothing. Then I thought maybe he would see my message after I won the auction and would cooperate due to the fact he had three days to respond to my message.

Maybe it wasn't 100% right to bid and then refuse to pay if it would be a bootleg but acting like an asshole is also wrong.

When they don't reply I don't even look at the auction anymore... maybe I missed some bargains this way, but also a lot of boots.

Why would you bid when you have no confirmation of authenticity?

If you bid you are still contractually obligated to pay regardless.

This is your own fault in my opinion. There is no ebay rule that states you MUST respond to questions.

No response = Do not bid

Another one to add to the shit list: berdyshev

He bought two CDs off me and apparently they got lost in the mail. As they weren't sent via registered post there's no way of tracking them of course. He sent a message of inquiry earlier to find out the what's the tracking number, to which I replied that no such thing is possible, and the best thing would be to wait a little longer and if still nothing arrives, I'll gladly sent him a full refund. He didn't reply to that and filed the dispute through ebay. I tried to make a full refund of his paypal payment, but since I didn't have enough money on my paypal account, that couldn't be done, so I just sent him a regular "gift" payment, adding a few bucks to the total amount. I trusted him since he bought CDs from me in the past, so I sent him a message that he got his refund and he can close the disputes ... and of course didn't hear a thing from him about it so in the end he got what he paid for refunded from paypal/ebay, he got another $40 from me and the CDs are apparently still floating somewhere or more probably he received them as well.

I'm sorry to hear that dude but you should have never sent him the "gift" payment though.
