No.. They know more about pressings/states/plants/years they anyone else when it comes to 45's and they have no problem sharing info like that.Prowler wrote:Ah, I understand ... I thought you were trying to convert them or something ...
Also the dig through more 45's then anyone else in this county so they can find more then anyone else in they know what there looking for.
How do you think I get all the stuff I put on ebay? I am not finding that in local stores. But if I have someone in each state looking for me, then maybe I can come up with that much stuff...
"I am NOT a collector"
I know, the Us ebay sellers do offer insanely obscure stuff, even though most of them do not know what they have there. Those who put it up in the Metal section get big money for their stuff and those who think it is Rock or Pop are getting some peanuts. Unfortunately noone can sit the whole day in front of his PC and checking ALL ebay.com lists. He'd find some treasures I'm sure though the majority of that local stuff might be completely unknown so if you don't know anyone to ask you're dead and if you ask someone then you've just another concurrent. And most stuff does noone know and you've no reference. Some Hard Rock bands have crappy names or songtitles but killer songs etc but who has the money to check them ALL out on suspicion? I've set a hell of money into the sand for that reason only to find the "big hit"! ... Metal hunting is a really cruel business ...

It's not easy to be the Antichrist ...

These songs are on a recent cd by the band. They claim it came out as a 7" but no copy has ever surfaced (the band doesn't have one), so at this point we have to assume it is a demo. It would be a great single though if it existed.

I don't mean to disrespect to Coven (i don't know them) but over the years i started not to believe everything without actual proof. Salem's Wych (an amazing band) told me they had a second album recorded back in the '80s and pressed in vinyl back then !!! by someone else (not them)!!!???doomedplanet wrote:These songs are on a recent cd by the band. Satan's Host at interview said some great stories about an LP and a 7" at a Steel Conjuring interview a long time ago. Ritual said that the Widow LP has also been printed as Ritual. None of the above are correct. Maybe some band members believe that saying stuff like that will make a hype in the collector's circles.
Edit: I would love to be proven wrong. The Coven songs are very good and it would be great if this single actually exists.
E.C.S.S.R. will prevail
Ι know about all these long time ago but it's a different case with both Satan's Host and Salem's Wytch, the guys are not sky walking, I've talked a lot with them to know their intentions and they really don't give a fuck about collector's values and stuff. I just wanted to find someone who has this anyway for whatever reasons....I hope someone turns up in time. The recent CD you are talking about includes re-made versions of the Coven songs, unless you are talking about the Butcher CD of course.chatzial wrote:I don't mean to disrespect to Coven (i don't know them) but over the years i started not to believe everything without actual proof. Never trust the Goblin King....
I have never heard the "Welcome To The Night" CD. Is this all new material except for the two Coven tracks or is this a compilation of old material?Trigger wrote:Ι know about all these long time ago but it's a different case with both Satan's Host and Salem's Wytch, the guys are not sky walking, I've talked a lot with them to know their intentions and they really don't give a fuck about collector's values and stuff. "Welcome to the Night" is never recorded old Butcher tracks. They recorded the album at the time it was released and included the old recordings of the 2 Coven tunes fitted into the concept of the album. It's a great album if you get into it and realize it is a concept album.
Never trust the Goblin King....
The Chyld single will be available in the very near future, making this auction price even more insane...See here:
