Send me a PM next weekend as a reminder and I will check my copy.Herkus Monte wrote:Does anyone own the original Slaughter Lord - Thrash til Death CD? On the matrix side I found (among others) the producer`s webpage address (www.mobineko.com), which looks a bit unusal to me, especially seeing this album was released in 1998.

I can't tell from that photo but there are two different pressings of this CD. One was made by Capitol and the second by Discovery Systems.
I have an extra copy that I will glady sell or trade.

I mean the version with the bonus tracks - see the back insert on the photo. I have it, looks like a boot.Avenger wrote:I can't tell from that photo but there are two different pressings of this CD. One was made by Capitol and the second by Discovery Systems.

I do also have the first press version without bonus tracks made by discovery systems.
And now for something completely different.
Let's take two Price Killers CDs: Vicious Rumors - SOTN and Chastain - MOI.
VR has this on backinsert:
(P) 1985 Shrapnel Records/Roadrunner Prod B.V.
(C) 1985 Shrapnel Records.
Chastain:
(P) 1985 Shrapnel Records/Roadrunner Prod B.V.
(C) 1990 Shrapnel Records.
There are clearly two types of price killers pressings. Apart from the dates in copyrights (one type has original date, and the other type has 1990) they differ in matrix style and exsistence, or the lack of it, of a SPV distribution number. Different is also the layout of the CD and backinsert.
So... are all Price Killers really from 1990, or some are earlier/later?

Hard to say. This could just be an issue of inconsistency. I think we have all seen how these old series of discs are prone to that.Heathen wrote:And now for something completely different.

There is also at least 2 different repressings of some of the titles in the series as well. One has an IFPI Code etched into the clear center hub and the second has a "mirrored" center hub instead of a clear one that also has an IFPI Code.

Anyone knows if there is other "Pricekillers" with IFPI? Wich ones? Or all?
There is a later pressing with IFPI Codes.Yakish wrote:I know for sure both Carnivore albums on PK series also have IFPI codes
Of course the first one doesn't have them.
