The Priest show was awesome! Setlist was exactly the same than last summer's open air show at Tampere, so no surprises there. But at least you could enjoy laser & pyro effects much more in a dark indoor venue.iron_servant wrote:JUDAS PRIEST on sunday in Helsinki. It will be a huge show again, can't wait..
They played a lot of classics like The Sentinel, Night Crawler, Starbreaker, Blood Red Skies, Never Satisfied, Beyond the Realms of Death etc.. For me those 70's tracks were the highlight of the night really. Mr. Halford did sound really good on and basically the whole band seemed to enjoy their time.
It's a shame that I never managed to see them with K.K. handling the guitar. But life goes on, at least I enjoyed 100% those two shows I saw, and Richie Faulkner is a good replacement for sure.

A busy Friday evening in Sundsvall.
At 20.00 I'll be at Pipeline to watch Deathwings (featuring the vocalist and drummer from legendary local heroes Behemoth). Damn them if they don't play Vengeance!

At 22.00 I should have moved on to Domsaga to watch Mortalicum premiering stuff from their new album.

I went to see them yesterday in Antwerp. Saxon is always great, but they play a short set and throw in too many singalong songs for my taste. Priest was great, if you can cope with the fact that Halford is getting old. Anyway, prepare for a very lengthy set! Cool laser effects too.msp wrote:Judas Priest & Saxon this Saturday
