Now prices for this one are insane, around 100-150 $
I think it's highly overpriced, music is good but not so good as 150 dollars.
Last two auctions ended at more reasonable point:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/MORPHEUS-DESCEN ... 4ab6874860
http://www.ebay.com/itm/MORPHEUS-DESCEN ... 43aed6fe67
but i remember not so long ago it ended on 202 $ or something like this.
This one also will end very high i guess:

could anyone comapre this one to his own angel dust - to dust... copy?

I compared the matrix to some hot blood pressings, and they look very similar.

Okay - was there ever a legit CD pressing of the first Saint Vitus album? If yes how to distinguish it from the bootlegs that are out there?

Yeah there is, I think its made by jvc, pressed around 1990 I believe. I don't have it so I can't help with how to distinguish from the bootlegs.

I grabbed it for a couple of euros and the CD feels a bit "off"

I can provide a scan if needed.
Here's the scans (once again) for original Mausoleum Classix cd

This CD is a bootleg. All the Mausoleum Classix series CD's that are bootlegged look like this.

Here is the scan of my CD:

This CD is original. Notice how the Matrix text is not perfectly centered and it has an additional center ring.

I tried to scan front and back but the result does not help:

The matrix is read from the front of the CD :

DM - 88060 - 1 T 21 (last 2 digits are smaller)

and has also a bunch of symbols, which i don't know what they are, maybe another member that has it can explain.
Here's a scan from mine! Maybe bootleg or re-press??? I remember reading in an old "Heavy Oder Was" (Germany) magazine that the band did a re-press...anyone knows more about it???

The disc posted by chatzial is the first pressing. The one that you have is a legitimate re-press.

Osmi_Putnik wrote:I was investigating a little bit more about Mausoleum Classix series because i was 100% shure that my Scavenger was genuine but then i saw other scans here and i asked questions from few people i believe...here's one of answers:

The Mausoleum Classics label got broken in 99 but they still got tons of CDs of their label so they decide to put a huge stock to a kind of a warehouse and they paied a rent for it! after some years they stop to pay and since a couple of years the stock came to the market but 1st just a few titles cause there is a huge pile of unopened boxes and it tookes a long time to check them all and organize everything!
So maybe some titles more will be find...

Of course there are some different pressings around! They were produced in Germany and Austria as well!

There are 3 different pressings of all the titles!

The 1st titles came with 58 titles on the backside of the booket (they were made in Austria)! But 9 titles:

704102.2 Steeltower Night Of The Dog
704103.2 Seargant Seargant
504104.2 Together Playing Games
704153.2 Made Axeman Made Axeman
704154.2 Torch Fire Raiser
704155.2 Faith Full Breath Gold`n GLORY
704156.2 Maggie's Madness on fire
704157.2 Wolf Edge of the World
704158.2 Steve Bad - Killing the night

of them were only for the american market but later they stopped to sell them and removed the titles from the booklets and the next pressings came out with 49 titles only!

So this 9 titles are the most rare releases of the Mausoleum Classics serie!

Also there is 1 pressing more without informations about the other releases - its just white!
Who told you this? I'm calling complete bullshit. The only one of these "additional" titles that I have seen is the Steeltower - "Night Of The Dog" and it's quite obviously a bootleg.

akira wrote:Is this pressing of Tokyo Blades - Nigt Of The Blade...The Night Before bootleg?. On The back side of the cd it's printed goodlife-records.de-861 and ifpi code LT22, a bit different than other High Vaultage cd's. Thanks!!!!

All High Vaultage CD's with the "goodlife-records" matrix prefix are legit. They are just repressings.

That is correct. It's a re-issue.

This is another classic case of users adding an entry on musik sammler incorrectly.

Again, I don't believe this.

These are bootlegs..

Question about first Damien album "Every Dog Has Its Day" CD
musik sammler says about only one legit CD press from 1987 on Steamhammer and bootleg on Select Records: http://www.musik-sammler.de/media/689959
but i found scans from this Select records edition and it's seems OK for me:
Image
Image
So, was it released by Steamhammer in Europe and Select in US on CD in the same year or what?
Here it is: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Damien-Every-Do ... 1016766473
looks pretty good, but very cheap and this also makes me doubt
