TRIPLE FORTE
Triple Forte
Here it is... the Triple Forte EP in all its amateurish glory. I love it.... hope you do too!
Also, this represents my first vinyl rip using Cool Edit Pro, so if the thing sounds like shit--or if it's ok, but you have other pointers--please get in touch! I'm a total novice at this stuff. Assuming I've got this more or less down, I'll post Joe Step in the next few days--someone requested that not too long ago.
Enjoy!

Cheers a ton! An age-old mystery finally unveiled. Yeah, you just gotta love this kind of early 80's, bare bones d.i.y.-Metal. Quite original too, esp the haunting "Black Mirror" and of course those 'sweaty' vocals.
The rip sounds flawless, even if I've only played it on computer speakers so far. Good work!

*Small post while on vacation*
First a huge THANX to beerandjesus for sharing this ultra rare EP! I really thought i would never hear it unless a paid lots of $$$...
The vocals are a bit average and NWOBHM sounding imo, but i really dig the evil touch of the guitar on 'Black mirror' and 'Broken halo', the last one reminds me a darker RUSH kind of riffing! Fortunately is not that usual commercial HR/HM style you find on most of US obscurities, but the 200-300 $ are way too much for it.

My pleasure, man... listen to it in good health!ION BRITTON wrote: First a huge THANX to beerandjesus for sharing this ultra rare EP! I really thought i would never hear it unless a paid lots of $$$...
Yeah, "nwobhm" is a pretty good way to describe those vocals. He actually reminds me of some 50s singer, but for the life of me, I can't remember who.... he sounds a bit like the guy from Xcel, too, but a bit more aware of his limitations!
