Wombbath - Internal Caustic Torments
I only bought it because i half-remembered it has been mentioned as a valuable CD. So when I saw that a guy listed it for 12 pounds on discogs.. *click*. A few moments later the same guy lists Excruciate for 25 pounds. When I saw it I naturally reacted with a facepalm - I knew there are new bootlegs of some Thrash rec. releases and, surprise surprise, these are exactly the two bootleged CDs. So I was sure I bid on a bootleg. Excruciate of course dissapeared after another 2-3 minutes. I asked the guy about the CDs and he says he bought them in 1993. Facepalm again. I let the Excruciate CD slip my hands. Today the Wombbath arrived and it is 100% original. By the way, I have no idea if I will like the music, so I may want to sell it. I am not yet at the point of having CDs in my collection only due to their money value

@Trigger: Don't put words in my mouth, even if you're just joking, thanks.
I used to find these all the time in second hand shops. Don't forget most Thrash records CD's were listed in Nuclear blast's bargain bin as late as 1996. In fact I should take a pic of an old Nuclear blast catalogue, because some of the most expensive CD's were listed for a few DM because they couldn't get rid of them.Heathen wrote:Wombbath - Internal Caustic Torments

But now even bootlegs of excruciate are worth 80€ and konqueror reissue of Seeming Salvation is worth 30€. These old stories like yours or Helstars on Agretator are very touching , but the age of internet and "global village" has changed everything. The DEMAND is now 300 times greater then back then!humus wrote:I used to find these all the time in second hand shops.
