Daniel's way is how I feel as well. There's much inherent hilarity in the concept of HM and I don't really need anyone to make parodies of it for me to get it. The hilarity I see I see in a kind-hearted matter and it doesn't decrease my love for the music and aesthetics, it's a subtle thing that isn't served well when hit by the proverbial comedy shovel in the face with parodies.

Spinal Tap was a always a commercial joke and not even at all half-good both as film and as a music.

If you want to see the ULTIMATE-METAL-COMEDY related movie you SHOULD see Aki Kaurismäki's 1989 Finnish film LENINGRAD COW BOYS.
You will laugh all the time.And works together as a parody to US Glam metal and to many other things metal-or not related.The HAIR and SHOES of the members in this movie are priceless.

maybe we dont need the parodies...but what about other people....we should take it as it is: FUNNY! and we have to accept that lots of situations in the movie happened and stil are happening in the present

I had the 2000 CD reissuse for a long time, because I thought it was the first edition, but I found the first editon recently, I like the first pressing better, because the second pressing has 2 bonus tracks.

I love playing this album between the first Manowar CD and the fist Cirith Ungol CD.

I always liked bands that most people would consider a "joke" band ala, The Mentors, Stromtroopers of Death, Piledriver, Spinal Tap.

I asked my mom what a Spinal Tap was, and when she told me, I though the name was sufficeintly awesome enough, for my collection.

The song "Big Bottom" sounded like something the Mentors would write, so I had to get this.

And f*&! yeah, I wish there were AMPS that went to 11 !!!!!!
