@ Zdan

I hope you'll enjoy it. I for one think that this is a top thrash album, one of my favorites.

@ Yakish

Is this Sultan - Check and Mate hard to get and expensive? Didn't know it but it looks like something I'd like to possess

Heathen: I think so too. I really like it - it is one of my European favourites. Normally I prefer USA-based thrash but that album is one of the best. I did not think I would get it for such a good price. This is another rarity I wanted that I bought from you (I bought Slammer and Shok Paris CD's previously). So thanks for not going overboard with the price - I have seen that CD go for mad prices - this one is VERY VERY acceptable.

Except the PK completists, who could possibly want that poor version since the CBS one is perfect (and first press too) :D ?

This is the price for original, also beware of recent bootleg for cheap.

This is the EBAY price for original... Ebay has nothing to do with reality...

These are actually old pictures now, I was about to post them when the forum went down.

First, some more 45s (if you're wondering how a ska band ended up in there, The Boxboys were Betsy "Bitch" Weiss' first band):

Some CDs (mostly from the last Sentinel Steel sale):

And something I've been meaning to do for a while, I finally bought a bunch of Hungarian LPs (OK, Stormwitch is a German band, but Magyarorszagon is a live album which was only released in Hungary):

ebay is the reality but i will agree with you here for different reason - someone actually paying (on repeated occassions) a price sets the price, not someone WANTING a price. So what this active buy it now auction tells me is "it is worth less than 85$, because noone wants to pay 85$".

No it's not the reality. There are hundreds of sources to find rare stuff if you are buying only from ebay maybe it's your reality. A "buy it now" option means nothing. He could sell it for $80, $180 or $280. Or remove it from ebay & put it in one month from now & get $380. He could also remove the listing & put it as "auction". Then he could get even more. That shit happens every day & proves that nothing of all this, is "real"...

I buy max 20-25% of my out of print stuff on eBay, because elsewhere I can find many things chaper. But eBay is the reality in the sense that ebay prices are setting the trend. If something sells (not "is offered") on eBay for XXX then this is regarded as the item value in the collectors world. You know that as well as I do.

The second part of what you said is exactly what I said - it is irrelevant how much someone demands for an item, what counts is how much it sells for.

I know that you don't buy everything from ebay that's why I mentioned your illogical statement. No I don't know it. I bought a specific US metal cd for 50 Euros the same day that another auction went for $125. What's the "value" in the "collectors" world can you tell? And by the way, if ebay is reality why are you searching all day & night to every ebay version to find cheaper stuff? What version of ebay is the "real" one?

Nope you didn't said that. I just wanted to say that there are many times that a cd with buy it now price was rotting forever with the usual watchers-loosers. Somehow the collectors are junkies & they want to bid (instead of playing other games), But when the seller (or even a different seller - that happened too) changed the "buy it now" option to auction, then the cd sold at a higher price. What's the "reality" in these cases?
