I haven't checked out the rips that Ernest put up, but my own mp3s should be from the original tapes and all but one of them have a raw but pretty decent sound. Have you listened to the TED HEATH tape?

I think it is hard to separate riffs with the dull and unclear sound. I just listened to the Ted Heath tape and I was sold direcly. Furious and energic as is should be. much better than all other average thrash releases in the late 80s..! Speaking of raw thash, are you familiar with NUM SKULL?

Yeah, I should have - or used to have - a demo. Only remember it being "raw thrash" as you described, not if it was total ripper or not. Wasn't their old recordings reissued recently?

I have no idea wheather they are reissued or not. You should really check out their album Ritually Abused. I have never heard their demos.

Do you know what other releases that label has besides those bands you mentioned?

Funeral Nation and Ripping Corpse (I believe?) are two that come to mind, though there were a few more.

Apparently CCG stood for Chaotic Crotch Grinder.

Seriously? That is quite a plausible interpretation considering the low (yet oh so funny!) fanzine-humor of the era.

More CCG releases that come to mind: BRUTAL OBSCENITY, TYNATOR, LEPROCY, EXMORTIS, ARMOURED ANGEL..

Seriously. Steve CMFT also had a short-lived band/project called Chaotic Crotch Grinder. One demo was issued, titled Suck My Cock.
